Cantina del Tigre

It’s been a long time since I’ve been able to give a restaurant 5 stars across all three categories, but Cantina del Tigre truly deserves it. From the moment my wife and I stepped in, we knew we were going to be pleased. The server was knowledgeable and honest, explaining that the portion sizes were large enough to share, and that the kitchen times were staggered so that each dish would arrive at the right moment, without overlapping the previous one. The whole fish al carbón was plated beautifully and cooked to perfection—moist and flavorful. The arroz con coco was spectacular. Then the osso buco arrived, also plated wonderfully. I was only able to eat a quarter of the osso buco because I had already devoured most of the fish. The osso buco was tender and absolutely delicious. The flan de café dessert was something my wife liked better than I did, but it was still very good. All in all, there wasn’t a single dish we ate that I could have made better. The portion sizes and the service make Cantina del Tigre a bargain for this quality of food. We’re already looking forward to going back.

Teníamos que ir a este restaurante calificado como uno de los 100 mejores de latinoamerica para probar sus comidas. Ambiente muy urbano y jovial. Adentro con aire acondicionado. Afuera estilo parque. La comida muy buena. A lo panameño con un aire sofisticado. Comer saus para este tiempo parece un lujo. Lo que me fascinó fueron sus patacones gigantes. El ceviche de chirimoya es una locura. Lo mejor de la noche. Tiempo de compartir en la comida. Buenos consejos de lo meseros para que no nos quedáramos con hambre. Los postres deliciosos. Bien ganado el puesto.

Un viernes por la tardecita visitamos este lugar para pasar tiempo entre amigos y nos fue muy bien!! Los platos que pedimos estuvieron muy ricos, la atención muy cordial y el ambiente bastante descomplicado. La calle donde se ubican es un poco difícil por el tráfico y cuesta ver el letrero del lugar, que lo ves cuando estás ya encima, pero el waze te ayuda bastante. Vale la pena ir!

Lleve a un amigo a conocer la Cantina del Tigre y le encantó el ambiente, la atención y sobretodo la comida. Disfrutamos de una buena comida. Lo recomiendo.

Wao! Tremendo restaurante, me lo recomendaron y tarde un poco en ir, pero celebramos el cumpleaño de una amiga y lo disfrutamos mucho. Deben visitarlo, se los recomiendo
